Every year, World Scout Day is observed on February 22. This day marks the birth anniversary of Lieutenant General Baden-Powell who is known as the founder of Scouting. The celebration takes places in nearly all Scout associations across the world. The enthusiastic Cubs and Bulbuls, Scouts and Guides of AlphaSchool, Porur took pride in celebrating the World Scouts Day.The celebration began with the Scouts Prayer Song.The entire celebration was focused on the theme of Scout Day 2022 ‘Our World, Our Equal Future, The Environment and Gender Equality. The celebration concluded witha group activity, ‘The Scout Creative Corner’led by the Scout leaders through which they exhibited their creativity as Scouts,recalling thehistory of the Scouts and Guides and it’s advent in India.
