January 26th, a day set apart by every Indian to cherish the democracy, freedom and the rich culture of this Nation. As the nation started preparing itself to celebrate its 74th Republic Day, so did Alpha School, Porur making sure that this day is truly a great day for the Alphians. Students of different classes had contributed in various ways to showcase their patriotism by celebrating this special day. Colourful events like, patriotic song by the grade 4 students, toe tapping dance performances by III-V students, speeches to highlight the goodness of this nation in English, Hindi and Tamil made this Republic Day a day filled with patriotic spirit for the Alphians of Porur. Mrs. Sangeetha Anbu, Kindergarten Coordinator, gave a powerful Republic Day message that was thought provoking. Thus, the 74th Republic Day celebration at Alpha School Porur was a remarkably splendid one that will be cherished forever.
