Plastics do much harm to the environment around us. The students of Alpha School Porur celebrated the ‘Plastic Free Day’ by making paper bags. This gesture by the students has brought out the strong message that each of us must be responsible in avoiding plastics and find alternatives for the same. Students of Grade 1-9 were taught to make their own paper bags during their art and craft period. As ‘Actions speak louder than words’ the Alphians of Porur will strive to say “Yes” to Paper Bags and “No” to Plastic Bags.
