The investiture ceremony for the academic year 2019-20 of Alpha School Porur was held on the 5th July 2019 .The chief guest of the program was Mrs. Ramani George, Principal of Alpha Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Sembakkam. The proverb ,”Well begun is half done” found its fulfillment on this day at Alpha School Porur setting a right start for the new academic year through the meticulously planned investiture ceremony. The ceremony began with a stunning parade performance by the captains which was followed by a solemn oath taking ceremony. The chief guest addressed the gathering with her words of motivation and appreciation. The ceremony concluded with the toe tapping, mind blowing choreography by the captain’s through which they gracefully brought out the message that ‘nothing is impossible’ when God is at work within us.
