The festival of lights was celebrated in a spectacular way by the Alphians of Porur, setting aflame the Diwali spirit in everyone. The program included colourful dances, a meaningful character portrayal that brought out the importance of celebrating Diwali, speeches about Diwali in different languages with PPTs, Diya making craft, Diwali song by the nightingales of Alpha and so on. The program clearly brought out the message that just as light dispels darkness so should our lives be through our good works. This celebration thus became a part of the holistic formation provided for the Alphians of Porur and made the 2021 Diwali a truly special one.
