AGE CRITERIA FOR ADMISSIONS
To be eligible for admission, a student must have:
- Successfully completed the previous grade from a recognized school.
- Met the minimum age requirement for entry into the respective class:

Is Alpha School affiliated with CBSE?
Yes, Alpha School is affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi, up to the Senior Secondary level.
Does Alpha School admit children from overseas?
Yes, students from overseas schools can be admitted, provided they pass the admission test conducted by the school. Our globally recognized teaching methodologies ensure a smooth transition for students from different educational backgrounds.
Are mid-year admissions available?
Mid-year admissions are open for Pre-KG, LKG, and UKG. For other grades, admissions are considered only in special cases such as relocation or transfers.
What is the admission process for Grade 2 and above?
Students applying for Grade 2 and above may be required to appear for a written test, at the school’s discretion.
What is the process for students transferring from other schools?
Students from CBSE, ICSE, State Matriculation, or International curriculums must submit a Transfer Certificate (TC) countersigned by the respective educational board along with a satisfactory academic record.

What is the admission criterion for different grades?
For KG Classes, admission is based on a personal interaction session with the child and parents. For Class I, an oral assessment is conducted, while for Class II to IX & XI, students must appear for an entrance test in English, Mathematics, Science, and Second Language.
